I think pretty much every minigame including jad/inferno/raids 1 is safe but raids 2 is NOT safe. You can tell the difference between safe and not safe deaths by where you respawn. If you respawn in lumby (or whatever your standard death respawn location is) then it's not a safe death. You can die in a safe death but still loose your status. The only place this is sort of true is gauntlet. Everywhere else that's a safe death (mains don't get a grave/lose items) leaves your status intact. This isn't the case for HC G IM, but is true for HCIM.
