We have the same issue with our Elitebooks connected through HP USB C-dock G4. Only way to wake the laptop each morning is to unplug usb c cable or disconnect power from the dock. What I have tried: Unplugged and held the power button down with the battery connected and disconnected. Tried the Different Key combinations while holding down power.
